Who Are Advising Sessions For?
Advising sessions are for:
- Students who recently attended an information session
- Detailed, specific questions not covered in an information session
Advising sessions are not for:
- Full degree planning (we help with individual course questions, not comprehensive plans)
- Financial aid inquiries — contact Aggie One Stop
- International admissions — contact International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS)
- Application assistance or status — application-help workshops are held separately
Before Your Appointment
A little preparation makes your session more productive — start with your program's information and admissions requirements.
- Have your questions ready
- Review your program's admission requirements and prerequisites
- For an undergraduate program, compare your transcripts to our prerequisites to discuss
- Be on time — you'll need to reschedule if you're more than 10 minutes late
